We are a full-service podiatric practice treating all types of foot and ankle disorders.
Our staff is uniquely trained in the treatment and management of athletic injuries, gait disorders, lower extremity trauma, and performance enhancement.
Identifying and treating underlying causes, allows us to keep you active for many years.
We are excited that since 2015 our office has been trained and utilizes regenerative medicine to promote tissue growth and healing. Used for patients who suffer from many musculoskeletal conditions, this advancement in medicine encourages your own body to repair itself by replacing, or regenerating, defective tissue.

A friend of mine referred me to Dr. Altchuler because the therapy I was receiving was not working. My insurance didn't cover me seeing Dr. Altchuler for a second opinion. Out of desperation I called Dr. Altchuler hoping he would spend a few minutes with me over the phone and provide me some ideas and suggestions. He called me promptly, after I left a message explaining what I needed. He spent not a few minutes, but nearly 30 minutes discussing my problem and then volunteered to review my MRIs when they came in, for free, no strings attached and no push to come into his office and become a patient. He was simply helping me out of the goodness of his heart.

Doctor Dan is wonderful. There isn't a doctor out there more skilled and as important, as kind. He is professional and concerned and actually really cares about his patients even when he isn't in the office. He goes that extra mile to make certain I am cared for. I was referred to Dr. Dan by a friend and love going to his office. The office is located on 15th off Wishire across from the UCLA Medical Center in Santa Monica. He is on the 10th floor of a large medical building. There is a covered parking garage attached to the building but the rates are pretty pricey so I park in the city lot that you can enter on 14th street just behind the building and walk the short distance over. Well worth it for $1.00 per hour!

Dan Altchuler has been my podiatrist for the past twelve years. I had been advised that orthotic correction would help with my skeletal alignment and ease back pain. Dr. Altchuler diagnosed my situation quickly by watching me walk, and created customized orthotic shoe inserts that have been consistently helpful to me. Annual visits have contributed to the success of the inserts, as they do need adjustment and occasional replacement. I look forward to these visits because of Dr. Altchuler's easy-going demeanor, sincere concern and tenacity in solving problems.
